In this area of management, I can attest to his constant determination to promote the value of the human person, always focused on improving the quality of life of his fellow citizens. He was a simple man with even simpler habits, a gentleman in his dealings with people.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n \u003cp\u003eI am proud to have held several positions of trust during his administration. As a member of his team, I was able to interact with him and renew my political practices, and today, I can speak of the privilege I have of being among his friends, along with his wife, children, and family. This biographical panel, or photo-biography, as academic Marcos Vinicius Vilaça called it, concisely profiling the life of José Maranhão, provides and enables indispensable data for the creation of a \"contextualized\" biography, in the view of contemporary historian Geovanni Levi, who typifies the great diversity of the biographical genre. It is into this framework that José Targino Maranhão enters, a great figure of a politician with a normal standard of living, who allows us to reconstruct the environment surrounding the individual.
