Thus, it is possible to assess the journey taken by the French ethnologist, anthropologist, and sociologist, from his early work on the "colonial situation," the "Third World," and African liberation movements, to his questions about the "great disturbance" of contemporary societies.

In this book, it is also possible to assess the anthropological fracture that occurred at the turn of the 20th century and the surreptitious entry into a new era, with the rapid emergence of "new new worlds" dissociated from geography and arising from the "great transformation," continuously in action since the 1980s. The idea is that these worlds are inhabited by us in a growing uprooting, in such a way that they transform into another somewhere, generated this time by our contemporaries.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0722/9197/5420/files/a1ad5bb85770150a439d337a6bf2877f_ba1c9e90-7b81-422d-9ddb-4fc4762b7e84.jpg?v=1778875626
