The short stories also range from the anecdotal to the dramatic, from the philosophical to the lyrical, capturing scenes of lives suspended in contemporary urban dilemmas. With open or unpredictable outcomes, the texts capture conflicts of the virtual age and people who are simultaneously attached to their place and eager to escape it.
