Ongoing climate change has increasingly produced events considered extreme, causing serious consequences for the population, such as floods, inundations, landslides, agricultural losses, water shortages, among many others. When they occur, they produce significant material and human losses, which are not felt equally by the entire population. Some are more vulnerable than others to socio-environmental risk, and their resilience is lower. This population is generally more affected by an event. Their exposure to socio-environmental risk is greater, and their ability to recover and reestablish themselves from an event is lower. In Brazil, we need to discuss these issues. The population is not prepared to act in the face of a large-scale event. However, connecting socio-environmental risks, physical geography, and education is a challenge. This book is designed to meet this challenge.","brand":"Totvsrj-record-dc","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":47175791083772,"sku":"9788528624533","price":54.9,"currency_code":"BRL","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0722\/9197\/5420\/files\/d16e9eeb2ce69784ac641520ca20a7fe.jpg?v=1778324686"}],"url":"https:\/\/www.record.com.br\/en\/collections\/michele-souza-da-silva.oembed","provider":"Editora Record","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
