Alek Skarlatos and Spencer Stone, soldiers in the U.S. Armed Forces, and Anthony Sadler are three friends who decided to take a trip through Europe. During the trip, they boarded the 3:17 PM train from Amsterdam to Paris. What seemed like a peaceful and fun trip turned into a nightmare when Ayoub El Khazzani, armed with an automatic rifle, a pistol, and a box cutter, crossed their path. In an act of courage and heroism, the three men were able to prevent the terrorist from endangering the lives of more than five hundred passengers on the train.
