The War of the Salamanders

Totalitarian regimes, persecutions, genocide... all the atrocities that would occur just a few years after this novel's publication are predicted here in a satirical and ingenious way. It all begins with the discovery of a species of highly intelligent salamander, and man, of course, tries to exploit them—until they begin to assert their rights, and war becomes imminent.
