It seems like just another day. You wake up, make a cup of coffee, and leave the house. But that day, when you open the door, there's a small wooden box waiting for you. This box contains your destiny: a ribbon with the exact number of years you'll live.

From suburban sidewalks to tents in the desert, people on every continent receive the same box. Suddenly, the world finds itself in a collective frenzy. Where did these boxes come from? What do they mean? Is there truth in their promises?

Society is simultaneously united and divided as everyone faces the same daunting decision: open the box and discover how much time they have? And, if so, what to do with that information?

The film addresses modern-day issues through unforgettable characters whose decisions and destinies suddenly intertwine. Best friends whose dreams are forever linked, pen pals who find refuge in the unknown, a couple who, before everything happened, believed there was no need to rush, a doctor who can't save himself, and a politician who owns the box and ultimately changes everything.
