Journalist and university professor Leo Cunha has published his works, receiving important awards such as the Nestlé, João-de-Barro, and Jabuti awards, among others. Leo, who is also a translator of several children's and young adult books, was born and lives in Minas Gerais, where he finds inspiration for most of his stories and poems. He is married and has a daughter named Sofia, to whom he dedicates this story.
