Sobre o autor

José Hermógenes

Pioneiro em medicina holística no Brasil, Hermógenes foi criador do Treinamento Antidistresse, do Método Yoga para Nervosos e colaborador (com yogaterapia) da 32ª Enfermaria da Santa Casa (RJ). O autor dedicou-se ao crescimento espiritual dos seres humanos, dividindo seu tempo entre o trabalho na Academia Hermógenes, a publicação de livros terapêuticos e de poesia, a produção de artigos para a imprensa, a organização de cursos, seminários e teses para congressos científicos. Professor Hermógenes plantava bananeira e fazia caminhada holística de 12 quilômetros, trabalhou como um jovem sadio e viajou por todo o país para divulgar sua proposta de vida saudável e de boa qualidade. No Brasil, publicou mais de vinte livros, alguns dos quais também foram lançados em Portugal. Faleceu em 2015, aos 94 anos.
