Relating to everyday topics, David Sumpter shows how mathematics is present in our lives and gives us a different perspective on how to view it.

Is there a secret formula for getting rich? Or for being happy? Or for going viral? Or for having self-confidence and making the right decisions? The answer to these and many other questions is: there is.

The Ten Equations That Rule the World are about the formulas that make our lives move. They're essential for everything from investment funds to betting sites to social media phenomena and can help you increase your chances of success, protect yourself from financial loss, live healthier, and see beyond fear.

With intelligence and lucidity, mathematician David Sumpter shows that it's not the technical details that make these formulas so successful, but rather the way they allow mathematicians to see problems from a different perspective—a way of seeing the world that anyone can develop.

Powerful and enlightening, The Ten Equations That Rule the World shows how mathematics can truly change your life.

“A fun idea for communicating an important message and a guide for making all kinds of decisions in life.” - Pinnacle

"Extremely entertaining, erudite, and at times incredibly witty. You'll finish Sumpter's book with a much clearer sense of why the world is less confusing than it seems." - E&T Magazine
