A poet who won the Jabuti Prize for his debut work, "Do objeto útil" (Of the Useful Object), Moacir Amâncio brings together in ATA his first six books (the other five are: Figuras na sala (Figures in the Room), O olho do canário (The Eye of the Canary), Colores siguientes (Following Colors), Contar a romã (Counting the Pomegranate), and Óbvio (Obvious), as well as previously unpublished works. Publishing these titles in a single volume was a natural consequence. ATA is a new invitation to a challenging reading of Moacir Amâncio's work, a singularity in the current poetry landscape.
