After Retrato desnatural (Unnatural Portrait), a book that blends poems, short stories, chronicles, and other textual forms, Evando Nascimento returns to the world of experimentation with the short story collection CANTOS DO MUNDO (SONG OF THE WORLD). A thought-provoking and thought-provoking book, divided into three parts: climates and landscapes; bestiary; and corners of the world. With a strong autobiographical tone, it also features texts that unfold into stories of love, separation, fictional letters, and philosophical musings. With a PhD in Philosophy from the Free University of Berlin and experience at the Sorbonne and the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (School of Higher Education in Social Sciences), Evando Nascimento lends his writings a certain universal air. At the same time, he unsettles by displacing things from their usual, natural, and expected place, moving the world and its corners.
