Sinopse
"

How the new science of dog behavior can make you a true friend to your dog.

John Bradshaw comes to the defense of dogs after more than 20 years of research. For the author, a pet's true calling is to become a member of the family, contrary to what current training techniques suggest.

Combining the latest discoveries in biology with his own experience with dogs, in Dog Sense, Bradshaw helps us understand what canines' true needs are and the best way to live with your dog without having to dominate him through fear or compensation methods.

This new scientific understanding has been slowly assimilated by owners, but it still has little impact on dogs' lives. This book is here to change that.

“By reading this book, you will do your dog a world of good.” - The Economist

“Fascinating. A manifesto for understanding our canine friends.” - The Guardian
