Diary of a Troublemaker: Sneakers or Headbands (Vol. 1)

Look, I didn't even want a diary in the first place. I spent six months using the word "iPod" in every sentence, and for what? But it was actually good: this year was definitely out of the ordinary... It all started at my school's Winter Festival. I swear it was all supposed to be a harmless joke, but it ended in a massive brawl and "Troublemaker Academy" in the newspapers—again. Then my best friend fell in love with Bezzie. And suddenly, Carrie became completely annoying, and all she could think about was Bezzie here, Bezzie there... Then I got a job at Tilak Foods, which makes frozen Asian food, and now I smell like lamb kafta all the time. And they wouldn't even let me put on lip gloss, because it's against company policy. Then my sister, Cava-Sue, had a fight with my mom, moved out, and hasn't heard from me in two days. Since Cava-Sue started studying theater, she's become very bored and only listens to weird, "non-commercial" bands. But what's the point of listening to a band nobody knows?
