Infinite station and other stations

In *Estação infinita e outras temporadas*, Ruy Espinheira Filho brings together poems written since 1966 and published in book form—a small volume shared with poet Antonio Brasileiro—in 1973. This book showcases the admirable and illustrious career of a great poet. Mário de Andrade said that art is made with flesh, blood, spirit, and the tumult of love. This is the work of Ruy Espinheira Filho, which Carlos Drummond de Andrade defined as "concentrated poetry of subtle expression" upon reading the poet's second book, *Heléboro*, his debut solo volume. With *Estação infinita e outras temporadas*, the author celebrates 39 years of publishing in book form and his 70th birthday. This is the author's fifth book published by Bertrand Brasil. Ruy has published twenty more books of poems, receiving, among others, the Cruz e Sousa National Poetry Prize, the Ribeiro Couto Prize from the Rio de Janeiro State University of Education, the Poetry Prize from the Brazilian Academy of Letters, and second place in the 2006 Jabuti Prize. He was a finalist for the Nestlé Prize and nominated for the Portugal Telecom Prize in 2010.
