She wrote an autobiography that reads like a novel. Paula is the pseudonym she chose to describe the life of this promising theater artist who became a drug addict. Overcome by depression, she was confined to bed for 11 months. After several misdiagnoses, Paula was taken to Argentina, where she discovered she had bipolar disorder. Admitted to a clinic, she gradually learned to regain her life and deal with the problems arising from the illness.
