In Geno and the Black Seal of Madame Crikke , we follow the story of Geno Hastor Venti, a shy, thin 11-year-old boy who lives on Doce Alecrim Street with his uncle Flebo Molecola. His classmates consider him a bit odd, mainly because of the mysterious kidnapping of his parents when he was still a baby. No one can imagine who would be interested in kidnapping two pharmacists from a small town, which makes the situation even more bizarre.
To stave off his neediness and loneliness, Geno settles for looking at an old photo of his parents... until the arrival of Madame Crikken, an old French woman who recently moved into a haunted house and seems to know something about the little boy's life.
As he tries to discover what really happened to his parents, the boy begins to uncover secrets he could never have imagined: cookies that activate mental powers, travel through seals, telekinesis, mind reading... In Geno and the Black Seal of Madame Crikken , Geno will have to go far from home, on a dangerous adventure in which he will discover many other mysteries about the psychic arts.
