Georges Braque

Georges Braque was a French modernist painter and is considered one of the main representatives of Cubism in France. Among his main works are: Mast in the Port of Antwerp (1906); The Viaduct at L'Estaque (1908); Violin and Jug (1910); Still Life with Tenora (1913); The Bottle of Rum (1914); Cards and Dice (1914) and The Billiard Table (1945). This book presents the story of Georges Braque, - the painter who, together with Pablo Picasso, started one of the most important movements in Modern Art: Cubism, - and his works.
