Literature and animality

The first book published in Brazil about the relationship between literature and animality.

The approach is based on works that have renewed and expanded the horizon of discussion about animals today, from philosophers (among others, Michel de Montaigne, Jacques Derrida, Gilles Deleuze and Giorgio Agamben) and writers (such as Franz Kafka, Jorge Luis Borges, JM Coetzee).

This volume concludes with an important interview with the French philosopher and ethologist Dominique Lestel.
