Stability doesn't seem to be an option in the FAYZ. After seven months, when things seemed to have established some order for the children and teenagers, new events will change the group's plans. With Drake dead and Zil and Caine at a reasonably safe distance, they will need to organize themselves. From creating a daycare center to establishing an army, the town council—comprised of, among others, Astrid, Sam, Howard, and Edilio—has been trying to keep life as close to normal as possible. Stranger and stranger things continue to happen, such as Orsay's newfound power; or should we call her the Prophetess? She, in addition to beginning to have visions about life outside the FAYZ, begins to question and spread ideas that will generate even more chaos among the children: isn't the Big Fifteen a bad thing after all? And could dying be the solution to escape this hell? As if all this weren't enough, a strange and terrifying rumor begins to instill fear in the group. Is it possible for the dead to come back to life, even in this place? Amidst all this, Astrid struggles to maintain control both within and outside the council. Is it worth lying in these times? When Caine and Zil decide to seize the opportunity and team up to destroy Perdido Beach and the aberrations once and for all, everyone is forced to choose who to believe, but most importantly, to decide the crucial question: is it worth resisting?
