Vienna in 1898 is the hub of scientists, thinkers, and artists, such as the painter Gustav Klimt. However, when one of the artist's models is brutally murdered, the police immediately turn their attention to him. To prove his innocence, Klimt enlists the help of his lawyer, Karl Werthen, and calls on the renowned criminal lawyer Hanns Gross.
