This book is the result of Gelson Fonseca Jr.'s direct experience leading the Brazilian Mission to the United Nations in New York and the author's reflection on the contribution of multilateral institutions to the adjustment, in an order of sovereigns, between the individual and the collective, force and community, interest and rule.
