My mother's lovers

Kathleen, a South African of English descent, incessantly traced the skies of Africa from the 1920s to the 1970s, boxed with Hemingway and hunted buffalo. The boy Alex kept his eyes fixed on the sky to get closer to his mother, the woman who was always distant, unreachable. Forty years later, upon receiving the news of her death, Alex decided to return to his home country in order to fulfill her last wishes.
