Dash and Lily's relationship isn't going so well. After their passionate encounter in Dash & Lily's Book of Dares, their romance seems to have cooled, but not without reason—after all, it hasn't been an easy year.

Lily's beloved grandfather suffered a heart attack, and now she has to juggle school, her job as a dog walker, all the help her grandpa requires, and, phew, her relationship with Dash. Amidst such a tiring routine, Lily's vibrant personality seems to be fading. So her brother, Langston, decides to put aside his beef with Dash so they can work together to plan a way to cheer her up.

Dash seems to have the perfect idea! What he doesn't know is that part of Lily's sadness is his fault, as he didn't even respond to her "I love you." But it's obvious he loves her (even if he doesn't say it in so many words). With only twelve days until Christmas, he decides to put his plan into action to restore his girlfriend's holiday spirit . Even though unpleasant events continue to arise and none of his surprises seem to work out, Dash won't give up on making Lily's favorite season a special one.
