Sinopse

The classic self-help book based on Toltec philosophy that went viral on social media. The Four Agreements provides a practical guide to personal freedom that has transformed the lives of celebrities such as Manu Gavassi, Gisele Bundchen, and Juliette Freire.

The Four Agreements presents the possibility of a new life, filled with energy, genuine happiness, and love. His approach is based on the thinking of the ancient Toltecs, a people who inhabited the region of present-day Mexico. Don Miguel Ruiz believes that to achieve this new life, it is enough to establish and honor four basic commitments: be impeccable with your word, don't take anything personally, don't jump to conclusions, and always give your best.

In The Four Agreements, you will discover the source of self-limiting beliefs that rob us of joy and create unnecessary suffering. Based on ancient Toltec wisdom, the ideas contained in this book enlighteningly explain how we are influenced and profoundly modified by the standards demanded by modern society.

Don Miguel Ruiz offers the reader a guide to simple habits and concepts that we all know but, unfortunately, fail to practice. The four commitments consist of commitments of faith and character that ward off sadness, insecurity, and dependence, leading us to true freedom—the kind that comes from the soul, the freedom that only we can grant ourselves.

In this newly revamped edition of The Four Agreements, you will discover a powerful code of conduct that can quickly transform your life into a new experience of true freedom, happiness, and love.

Sobre o autor

Don Miguel Ruiz

Os dois publicaram juntos The Toltec Art of Life and Death, As três perguntas, O ator e Eros.
