When there are no words

Sometimes all we need is a new perspective to understand the world. When an unlikely friendship begins to blossom between Kit Lowell, one of the most popular girls in high school, and David Drucker, the nerdy, isolated boy, everyone is surprised... especially Kit and David. The girl is struggling to cope with the loss of her father after a car accident, and ends up appreciating David's blunt honesty. In fact, he seems to be the only one capable of being objective about many subjects, including death, and she finds this strangely refreshing. David, who doesn't have many friends and is constantly bullied at school, is captivated by Kit's attention and her curious nature. When she asks him for help finding out more about her father's tragic accident, David immediately agrees. But neither of them could have predicted the outcome of this quest; dealing with the truth isn't always easy.
