In this collection of poems, which include texts from the beginning of the author's literary production, Carlos Cardoso shows his strength in the contrast between the poetics of purification and discursive verse, stitching together religious and sacrilegious references to create a poetry of stripping away, transparent, barefoot.
From Italo Moriconi's introduction: " Sol descalços allows us to uncover the most original sources of Carlos's poetic sensibility.
