A love without words

In 1968, Lynnie and Roman are committed to a mental institution. Falling in love, they decide to run away and find shelter in the home of Martha, a widow and retired teacher. The couple is hiding something: Lynnie has just given birth to a baby girl. The police arrive at Martha's house, searching for the fugitives. Roman manages to escape, but Lynnie is taken back to the institution. Before she can, however, she whispers in Martha's ear: "Hide. Her!" Thus begins the journey of these four fates: Lynnie, Roman, Martha, and baby Julia, separated by seemingly irreconcilable differences, but united by a secret and an extraordinary love.
