A dinner among spies

Two lovers. Two spies. A reunion. Who will come out of this dinner alive? In 2006, terrorists hijacked a plane at Vienna Airport, demanding a hostage exchange and determined not to negotiate. And indeed, they didn't negotiate—120 people were killed in the incident. Years later, when an informant at Guantanamo Bay claims the terrorists had been aided by a traitor at the CIA outpost in Vienna, agent Henry Pelham is tasked with investigating. The problem is that to do so, he'll need to travel to the idyllic town of Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, to reconnect with an old flame. Celia Harrison was also part of the Agency's Vienna squad at the time, but she decided to leave the secret service behind to get married and have children. Meeting for a simple dinner, the two soon find themselves caught up in a game of manipulation and deception, in which they both wonder what the other has to hide.
