A COMMON EXECUTION

In August 2000, a Russian nuclear submarine sank in the frigid waters of the Barents Sea. Among its 118 crew members was the young officer Vanya Altman. For several days, the president and his officials were lost in unfounded explanations about the accident's causes. Meanwhile, the Altman family awaited news on the shores of the Barents.
