Welcome to Forte Itália, a strategy and survival game. The first round is about to begin. After suffering a facial disfigurement, Sean Phillips began creating games where strangers could experience wonderful and tragic adventures. His first creation was Fort Italia, an RPG in which he sent a scene by mail, and the player responded with an action. It was simple. But Fort Italia itself, the game's ultimate objective, with its labyrinthine walls and its promise of stability and security amid a post-apocalyptic United States, is unreachable. There are only two possibilities: either you keep moving, or you die.
