Xica da Silva: The Black Cinderella

With a colorful and vibrant narrative, the author reveals the facets and interpretations behind the figure of Xica da Silva: from the seductress, capable of dominating men with cunning and sensuality, to the loving concubine, faithful to her husband and devoted to her children, passing through the role of patron of Tijuco, owner of a hundred slaves, and administrator of the greatest wealth of her time. A victorious woman, revolutionary even for today, irreverent and commanding, who majestically overcame her condition as a slave, creating the legend of a Black Cinderella.
