Ferreira Gullar

Augusto dos Anjos (1884-1914) nasceu no Engenho do Pau D’Arco na Paraíba. Aos 17 anos publicou, no jornal O Comércio, seus primeiros poemas. Em 1912, lançou, em edição particular, Eu, seu único livro publicado em vida. A primeira compilação de sua obra foi editada após seu falecimento, por Orris Soares.
