Belinda and Em

Co-president of her school's Youth Action Coalition, she's the first to champion minority rights. But secretly, Emily is still a little fascinated by the popular kids at school. And she harbors a slight resentment about her nonexistent love life. It's while thinking about the latter that she witnesses a classmate with special needs, Belinda, being attacked under the school bleachers... And she does nothing! Emily and Lucas, another passive witness to the attack, are forced to do community service at a center for people like Belinda. Soon, the young people begin to feel they can make a real difference. As if they could change what happened that night.
