Sinopse
"

The book that inspired the film of the same name.

An eight-year-old survivor of World War II, wandering through the snow, Hannibal Lecter is mute and wears a chain around his neck. In his mind, he recalls the painful image of his parents' death, torturous scenes of violence, and only a vague memory of what might have happened to his sister Mischa. The boy is found by his uncle and tries to rebuild his life, becoming a brilliant medical student. But Hannibal's demons still visit and torment him, and when he is old enough, he discovers that his anger combined with his academic gifts is the perfect formula for a bloodthirsty killer.

Hannibal: The Origin of Evil was adapted for the cinema in 2007, with Gaspard Ulliel in the role of Lecter, who had been immortalized by Anthony Hopkins' performance in previous adaptations.

Thomas Harris's trilogy about Dr. Hannibal Lecter is available through BestBolso.
