Sinopse

Victor Vale and Eli Ever. Once great friends, now mortal enemies who face off in Vengeance , the final chapter of V.E. Schwab's Villains series.

A month and a half earlier, Marcella had the life she'd always dreamed of. Married to Marcus, a rising mobster in the city of Merit, she lived in a mansion and had all the clothes and accessories she wanted, attended the best parties, and, behind the scenes, planned the next steps in her career with her husband. Her life would have gone exactly as planned if she hadn't discovered Marcus was cheating on her. Then, Marcella tried to stab him, but Marcus was a strong man, accustomed to killing, so he quickly knocked her unconscious and left her to die in the fire at the couple's mansion. But that wouldn't be the end of Marcella...

Five years earlier, Victor Vale died. However, after a clash with his old college friend, Eli Cardale—or Eli Ever, the killer from ExtraOrdinaries—Sydney Clarke brought him back to life. But the girl's powers had limitations, and Victor wasn't resurrected exactly as he was. So, he dedicated his life to searching for a cure, hunting down EOs with powers capable of helping him.

Five years earlier, Eli Ever was arrested. After leaving a trail of EO bodies, which he believed were an affront to God, Eli fell into a trap set by Victor. Then, in the custody of a new task force responsible for handling cases involving ExtraOrdinaries, he became a tool of that institution. This kept Eli informed of external events, fueling his suspicion that he had not witnessed Victor's true end.

Now, Merit is the stage for a new confrontation capable of altering the balance of power forever. And the paths of Marcella, Victor, and Eli are destined to cross in an encounter that will define everyone's lives in Vengeance , the explosive conclusion to the Villains series.
