Fully disguised, with false documents and under the protection of clandestine democratic organizations, Littín led three European film crews, covering the entire country.

In conversation with the filmmaker, García Márquez learned of his achievement and was able to glimpse another story behind it: that of human adventure, with all its professional and political implications, condensed into these ten chapters.
