Terry Pratchett

Terry Pratchett (1948-2015) foi o autor de ficção que mais vendeu livros na Inglaterra na década de 1990, com mais de 65 milhões de exemplares vendidos em 37 idiomas. Vencedor de diversos prêmios, publicou mais de oitenta obras, das quais quarenta são romances do universo Discworld®. Pela Bertrand Brasil, publicou Good Omens – Belas maldições, em parceria com Neil Gaiman, e alguns volumes das séries Terra Longa, Discworld e Tiffany Dolorida. Stephen Baxter nasceu em Liverpool, na Inglaterra. Estudou matemática na Universidade de Cambridge e obteve o título de doutor em engenharia na Universidade de Southampton. Lecionou matemática, física e tecnologia da informação antes de se dedicar exclusivamente à literatura, em 1995. Foi vice-presidente da H.G. Wells Society até 2006.
