The Hora e Vez do Rio de Janeiro e o Novo Governo (Time and Turn of Rio de Janeiro and the New Government) publishes the statements, studies, projects, suggestions, and comments from the Closing Session of the XIX National Forum, held on May 17, 2007. This was the first time the National Forum examined the development of a state in the federation, motivated by the fact that, after years of insufficient economic dynamism, Rio de Janeiro now has concrete opportunities to return to growth and development. Furthermore, there are reasons to give the new state government a vote of confidence (when opening the session, Governor Sérgio Cabral committed to promoting development, public safety, and social inclusion). The texts are written by Sergio Cabral, Julio Cesar Carmo Bueno, Fernando Sandroni, Felipe Goes, Eduardo Parente, Rosa Celia Pimentel Barbosa, Luiz Paulo Conde, Jorge Armando Felix, José Vicente da Silva Filho, André Urani, Marília Pastuk, Marcio Fortes, Carlos Marianni Bittencourt, Olavo Monteiro de Carvalho, and Orlando Diniz. The coordination is by João Paulo dos Reis Velloso.
