Eduardo Moreira é graduado em engenharia pela PUC-Rio e estudou economia na Universidade da Califórnia, em San Diego. É ex-banqueiro de investimentos. Foi eleito, em 2013, pela revista Época Negócios, um dos quarenta brasileiros de maior sucesso com menos de 40 anos, e pela revista Investidor Institucional, em 2016, um dos três melhores economistas do Brasil.
