Sinopse

The exciting adventures and games of a magical boy named Daniel are narrated in a special way by Rachel de Queiroz in The Magic Boy .

Daniel was a magician, and he learned magic just like that: suddenly. First, he noticed mysterious changes: he fell asleep in one room and woke up in another... Then, he made an egg turn into a chick... and the bed turn into an airplane!

Daniel was impressed, but decided not to tell his secret to anyone... Well, he only told his cousin Jorge, the smartest boy of them all. After all, they were best friends and adventure companions!

"Pretend that..." are the powerful words of the magical boy who transforms poetry into reality and reality into poetry. Enchantment, friendship, family, courage, and a healthy dose of confusion are the ingredients of this, the first children's book by the great writer Rachel de Queiroz, the first woman to be inducted into the Brazilian Academy of Letters.

The Magic Boy tells the stories of Daniel and his cousin Jorge, the smartest boy of them all, on adventures through Rio de Janeiro. It is the first children's book by Rachel de Queiroz, the first woman to be inducted into the Brazilian Academy of Letters, and now returns with illustrations by Mayara Lista, winner of the HQMix Trophy, the Oscar of comics in Brazil, in the academic category. The Magic Boy won the Jabuti Prize for children's book and was selected by UNESCO as one of the best works of literature for young people.
